Trade Interceptor is one of those trading apps that believe that tradition and the old-school approach is the sure-fire way to get new clients. And although that may be true to an extent, Trade Interceptor has failed again and again to provide the basic satisfaction of needs for their traders.
Way back when it was first established, it was only available for a desktop download. This wasn’t so strange for the time over a decade ago, but still. Trade Interceptor took their time in developing an app for a few years, which made it significantly drop out of the spotlight. I know that I certainly forgot all about it until I accidentally saw a suggestion for it a few months back.
Platform and Execution SCORE: 45%
Considering that it took them forever to create a simple mobile app, you would assume that Trade Interceptor is gonna deliver the most advanced, high tech and high-quality looking app for its users. If you were one of those people, I’m sorry you were disappointed. I know I was.
Namely, the app produced more than a few glitches and system shutdowns in the first couple of months, which was another huge disappointment. I remember giving up entirely after trying for a whole day to set up an account. Overall, it was a mess and a huge pain, just not worthy of my time.
Now, though, I have to say that things are starting to look up. Hey, maybe Trade Interceptor hired new IT guys. Whatever the case may be, the app now looks and works fine most of the time. Here you can find over 100 charts and graphs that show the latest assets and how they are performing on the market. Still, I wish I had this option 5 years ago!
Withdrawal Speed SCORE: 24%
As you might have guessed already, Trade Interceptor takes its sweet time in quite a lot of things, and withdrawals are just one of the many. Namely, the withdrawals usually take forever and when you try to find out the reason behind it, you will usually get a generic notification on how Trade Interceptor needs a lot of time to make sure your funds are protected, information accurate, etc.
This is quite a bleak explanation if you ask me, especially when compared to other, more successful trading apps. I’m not saying it is a bad thing to take your time and be accurate, but there are a lot of apps who manage to do the same in just a few minutes or hours, depending on the payment method that the clients are choosing. All I’m saying is - you need to step up your game, Trade Interceptor!
Support and Assistance SCORE: 13%
This app serves more as an educational tool or those old programs that look like Microsoft’s Paint, then a real trading app. Therefore, you are basically on your own when it comes to customer support. I’m not even sure they offer this feature at all since I wasn’t able to find any instruction on how to reach them or when.
Again, this is another huge downside, especially compared to market competitors. In most cases, trading apps and platforms today offer a 24/7 service, even on big holidays. It is quite astonishing to me that there is not a single person behind the Trade Interceptor operation that is available to pitch in and make an effort to connect with the clients.
Education and Tools SCORE: 26%
As for the educational section, there isn’t a particular tab you can click on and visit to learn more about useful things for your trading. Rather, Trade Interceptor encourages you to learn as you go, which may be challenging for some. Me, I’m more of a visual and hands-on learner, which is why I had no trouble conquering this system at all.
At Trade Interceptor, each graph, system, or a chart is explained in grave detail, so I found it pretty easy to use after a few visits. Still, a full educational section could hurt, Trade Interceptor designers!
